Just a few weeks ago, we released the first images of the Hanse 675 hull form. A lot has happened since then. The first hull has been removed from the mold, the main bulkheads are in place and the hull has arrived at the production halls in Greifswald for construction.
The images from the production halls give an idea of the dimensions. Enormous cabins and wet rooms, a saloon that is crying out for dancing – in short: a new dimension! This is not only an innovation for us, but among shipyards too. No other series production shipyard is building a yacht of this size.
“The benefits of a Hanse yacht, such as the standard self-tacking jib, halyards and sheets that are routed to the helmsman, have been retained in the development of the boat and have been improved even further to create a perfect ergonomic design for the helmsman. Extremely good sailing properties, even with a small crew, were just as important as the new design and form language. Many details, big and small, have been completely revised. In addition to the sophisticated technical features, great importance was placed on the furnishings below deck. The product we created underlines the new direction of Hanse yachts and is in a league of its own, particularly with regard to design!”, states Tijl Hetterschijt, Product Manager Hanse.
Tanks, cables and cable harnesses will be routed over the entire hull in the coming weeks. Then the construction will continue with the flooring and furnishings and the architecture of the interior will slowly begin taking shape. These extremely individual yachts reflect the taste and the sailing passion of their owner in a unique way. The Hanse 675 is trendsetting in design and construction, as well as the use of technology and detail solutions.
You can look forward to more revelations for the new flagship over the coming weeks!
